The Township of Mount Laurel works with local landlords in a Market to Affordable Program that utilizes affordable housing trust fund monies to provide a subsidy for landlords to agree to provide affordable rental units to qualified applicants.

Application Process:

 

Pre-applications are currently being accepted to be added to the waiting list for the Market to Affordable Rental Program.  In order to be eligible for an affordable housing unit, you must meet certain income limits as determined by the New Jersey Affordable Housing guidelines. Applicants will be required to meet the rental criteria of the landlord, typically good credit, no evictions and security deposit of one and one half months rent.  Additional criteria may be required. 

 

Triad Associates has been designated by the Township of Mount Laurel to act as the program Administrative Agent to qualify and assist applicants through the Market to Affordable home rental process.  When you are next on the list you will be contacted by a Triad representative.
